Laser Electronics Research Network

For Laser Electronics as a globally active high-tech company, innovative research and development work forms the basis for economic success. This is why Laser Electronics is actively involved in research networks with its partners. This work is supported by the European Union, the Federal Republic of Germany and the State of Berlin.

QuantumCascade “Development and construction of a thin-glass-based integration bench for MIR quantum cascade lasers for pulsed spectroscopic applications in the mid-infrared”

The Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration (IZM) and Laser Electronics are developing an easily integrated multispectral MIR light source in a research project. The aim is to achieve a new level of miniaturization of all optical and electronic components by means of miniaturized, integrable optical subsystems in glass benches.

This project was co-financed by the State of Berlin and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
